Paul Aitken - Chief Executive Officer

Paul is the founder of borro.com.  Prior to this Paul founded and was the MD of Movota, a provider of mobile solutions to leading media companies, which he sold to Bertelsmann in 2005. In addition to this, Paul has extensive senior operations, supply chain, marketing, & strategy experience in the Retail and IT sectors from his time working with DSG International and RM plc. Paul also holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mark Blandford - Non-Executive Director

Mark was the founder and Director of Sportingbet Plc, an online global sportsbook and casino and now works as a successful Venture capital investor.

In October 1998 he launched Sportingbet.com from Alderney, which was instantly successful listing on OFEX in April 1999. In January 2001 the company floated on the Alternative Investment Market, part of the London Stock Exchange raising £18m. Sportingbet operate online sports and horse race betting along with casino and virtual games together with Poker.

Guy Buckley-Sharp - Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining borro.com, Guy spent 5 years with ETV Capital Limited one of the leading venture debt providers in Europe. Prior to this Guy worked at Ernst & Young LLP (formerly Arthur Andersen), in the UK corporate restructuring department specialising in bank workout and formal insolvency work.

Paul Gratton - Non-Executive Director

Paul is probably most well known for his role as CEO of Egg. Paul started his career at Midland Bank and was part of the think tank that created First Direct where he was Financial Services Director. From there he went on to be Operations Director in the start up team that became Prudential Banking and ultimately Egg. Paul was the Chief Operating Officer when Egg launched in 1998 and became Egg’s CEO on IPO in 2000.

Having left Egg following its acquisition by Prudential in early 2006, he now splits his time across a range of executive and non-executive roles for start ups including Xbond, Activ8 Intelligence and If I were you.

Tim Levene - Non-Executive Director

Tim created his first juice bar, Crussh, in Canary Wharf. The company now has 25 stores spread across London. Following this he became the founding employee of Flutter.com and Commercial Director of Betfair, one of the world’s biggest betting organisations. He led the internationalisation of the business creating establishments across the world.

Tim founded Augmentum Capital in 2009, an investor with a broad range of international entrepreneurial experience whilst remaining an active shareholder and supporter of both Betfair and Crussh.

Ben Tompkins - Non-Executive Director

General Partner and Investment Manager Ben joined the Eden Ventures team after 18 years of corporate finance experience in Europe and the US, most recently as Managing Director at Broadview International (now Jefferies) where he was responsible for building the global digital media practice.

Ben focuses on opportunities in the internet, e-commerce, SaaS and games markets.
