Bentley unveils its ‘fastest production model’
Famous luxury car manufacturer Bentley has unveiled what it describes as its fastest production model ever made.
The Continental GT Speed coupe will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 later in the month and Bentley say it will appeal to those who value strongoutright performance, agile handling and sporting luxury.
The model contains an up-rated version of the unique Bentley six-litre, 48-valve, four-cam, twin turbocharged W12 engine. This helps it to go from 0-60 mph in just four seconds while it has a top speed of 205 mph.
Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley’s chairman and chief executive, said: “For nearly a decade, the Bentley Continental GT has defined high luxury, high performance grand touring.
“The new GT Speed with its harder-edged, sportier character reaffirms this pinnacle positioning and continues to broaden the worldwide appeal of the Continental coupe.”
The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from June 28th until July 1.
