BMW announces inaugural ‘Z-Fest’ plans
BMW has announced that it is to hold its first ever ‘Z-Fest’ at the forthcoming Silverstone Classic from 20th until 22nd July.
It will see BMW’s Z1, Z3, Z4 and Z8 sports cars, some of the most popular in its range, all on display while they will also take part in a special parade lap.
BMW UK has also been named ‘Official VIP Courtesy Car’ for the first time at the Silverstone Classic, while visitors will be treated to a display of the firm’s hottest current and famous cars from its glorious past.
Steve Miller, general manager of the BMW Car Club GB, said Silverstone would provide the perfect stage for the first ever Z-Fest.
He continued: “We wanted to do something spectacular to mark our anniversary and staging the UK’s first Z-Fest certainly fits that bill.
“This really is going to be something special and undoubtedly is this summer’s big event for Zed enthusiasts both in the UK and on the continent.”
New models likely to be on display include the BMW M6 Coupe and the eagerly anticipated BMW 1 Series 3-door M135i.
