Christie’s Impressionist/Modern works on paper auction this month will boast exquisite watercolours, gouaches, pastels and drawings.

Artists including Monet, Nolde, Picasso, Matisse and Chagall will be featured in the sale.

Christie’s auction house is preparing to hold a sale of English Pottery and Chinese Export Art, which will take place on January 28th at the Rockefeller Plaza.

Over 50 lots of English pottery will be auctioned off in the 10.00 GMT session, including a selection of early English saltglazed stoneware, redware, and creamware collected by William Burton Goodwin in the 1920′s and 30′s. Read more

Auction houses Christie’s and Sotheby’s are holding an auction of valuable Asian art as part of their semi-annual Asia Week.
