Our valuation team are individually sourced from the leading auction houses; Bonhams, Christie’s and Sotheby’s based on their specific areas of expertise. All of our specialist’s are highly skilled and experienced and have each received training and qualifications from the Gemmological Association as well as the Chartered Institute of Surveyors.

With a strong understanding of the constantly developing market, the team have excellent auction house connections and an acute awareness of current trends in the jewellery, fine art, gold, diamonds and luxury car market.

Samantha Lilley - Head of Valuation

Samantha is responsible for regulating all valuations on behalf of Borro Ltd. Samantha is a qualified Fine Arts and Antiques Chartered Surveyor and Fellow of the Gemmological Association. She has over fifteen years auction house experience in the valuation of fine art, antiques and jewellery. Before joining Borro Samantha was a General Valuer based in the London and European Valuations Department at Bonhams Auctioneers, she was also Head of Department, European and Oriental Costume and Textiles for the Bonhams Group and Head of Sale for European Costume and Textiles with Christies.
