Crisis wins Borro.com £10 million in funding

Paul Aitken has a collection of pawned goods that includes two Ferraris, six Rolex watches and even a light aircraft, showing how the crisis has hit the super-rich.
The total amount stretches into hundreds of thousands of pounds and the property was handed over by jobless bankers and a property developer whose firm crashed.
"This really shows how hard the recession has hit people. Even the well-off have had to adjust their standard of living," said Mr Aitken, who runs the Oxford-based borro.com.
"That might mean giving up the keys of a Ferrari, Porsche or plane for much-needed cash."
