A pop of colour and elegance – this beautiful sapphire weighs 5.37 carats and is cushioned by two stunning triangular diamonds, mounted in platinum. In 2016, it was sold at auction by Christie’s in New York for £274,000 in New York.
Cartier Diamond Ring – £409,000
This pear-shaped diamond has made it to our list of most expensive Cartier rings sold at auction, weighing in at approximately 14.18 carats, and is our first mounted in gold. In 2016, this magnificent jewel sold for £408,000 at auction by Christie’s in Geneva.
Cartier Diamond Coloured Ring – £1.3 million
Another pear-shaped diamond is next on the list but this one is a blue stunner surrounded by pink heart shaped diamonds that sit comfortably upon a gold band. There is 5.19 total carats worth of diamonds on this ring, which may explain why in 2016, this sensational piece sold for for £1.3 million at auction by Christie’s in Hong Kong.
Cartier Diamond Emerald Ring – £4.8 million
Finishing up our list of the most expensive Cartier rings sold at auction is this 5.31 carat diamond with two pear-shaped emeralds, sitting in 18 karat yellow gold. The ring was created in 1950 and is an extremely interesting piece. In 2017, it sold for £4.8 million at auction in Hong Kong by Phillips.
