Assets that are not fully owned by you
Borro offers Luxury Asset Term Loans from £100,000 to £5,000,000. Subject to terms and conditions.
Luxury Asset Term Loans are offered for 1 to 24 months.
Borro has an in-house team of valuers certified by organisations such as Gemmological Association of Great Britain, The National Association of Jewellers and the Gemological Institute of America.
Our valuers maintain an international network of qualified appraisers, specialists, and dealers to ensure Borro bases its decisions on the most accurate market value assessment possible.
"Market value" is the amount of money that you could expect to receive from selling your luxury asset(s) today. This is often different from the "retail value" at which the assets were bought.
Luxury assets tend to depreciate compared with their retail value unless they are very rare.
The luxury asset term loan will not be extended. You can apply for another loan. The terms of the new loan may vary from the initial loan.
Up until your loan agreement is accepted you have complete flexibility.
If you accept the loan offer and you pass our identification checks you can receive your loan funding the same day via a bank transfer.
Borro accepts bank transfers and debit card payments. Some payment methods process faster than others, so it is important that you understand the processing time required for the payment method that you choose to use. Payment must come from an account in the account holders name. Payment from business accounts or third parties will not be accepted.
Borro can arrange for a courier to collect assets such as luxury watches and jewellery as well as smaller works of fine art and antiques. Alternatively, you may book an appointment to meet our valuers at our offices.
For larger works of fine art and antiques or luxury and classic cars we will arrange specialised transportation via one of our partners.
For important pieces or assets in specialised storage we can arrange an on location visit by our valuers.
When you visit us, you will be greeted by your account manager and one of our valuers. Based on the valuer's assessment of your assets you will receive a loan offer.
Your account manager will then set up your Borro account if you haven't done so already, explain your loan agreement and you can receive your loan funding the very same day via a bank transfer provided you pass our checks.
You can book an appointment either by calling us at 0808 163 9537 or on our website. Borro recommends booking an appointment in advance of your arrival however you are welcome to visit our offices for a walk-in appointment if you are nearby.
All luxury assets are stored under highly-secure conditions with Borro's storage partners. Each partner offers specialised, state-of-the-art storage options so Borro can ensure assets are well taken care of until they are returned to you.
Your loan can be redeemed at any time, subject to early repayment fees where applicable, either online or with our Accounts team. You may come to our offices to receive your assets or Borro can arrange to have them returned to you.

Your assets are returned to your address in the same way they were brought to Borro for valuation after our Accounts Team have confirmed the return details with you.
Should you need to change your details or if you would like to pick up your assets yourself please contact our Accounts Team at 0203 131 5040.
To offer the highest level of security for your assets Borro does not arrange delivery to any address other than the address listed on your account.
If you have changed address since you took out your loan, you can update your address by sending a copy of a utility bill or bank statement to email@example.com along with a covering email explaining that you wish to update your address. Please ensure that this is dated within the last 3 months of the date of sending. This will be updated online within 24 hours. If the address is not updated, please call our Accounts Team on 0203 131 5040.
If it is not convenient for the assets to be delivered to your residential address we can arrange an appointment for you to come and collect the assets from our offices in central London. To arrange an appointment email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call our Accounts Team on 0203 131 5040.Please be advised we will require photo ID in the form of a passport or driving license for redemption.
From within your My Account Area you can update your account details, keep track of your loan statements, make secure payments for interest, redemption or extension (if applicable) of your account, view all the assets currently under contract and apply for new loans.
Simply visit the sign in page and you can log in or create a Borro account.
Simply visit the forgot password page and you can reset your Borro account password.
Missing payments could have severe consequences for you. If you do not make the payments due under the loan agreement or fail to make them when due you may not be allowed to redeem your assets and/or may lose your right to redeem your assets. Missing payments may mean that you will be charged additional interest, you incur charges and also that obtaining credit will be more difficult for you in the future.
